In the Ohio state of the US the first Federal Census was taken in 1800 but for Washington County only, from 1820 all the Ohio counties were included for census. The 1890 OH Decennial Census schedules were damaged in the 1921 warehouse fire, but along with the Veterans and Widows records small portions of Hamilton and Clinton Counties survived the fire.
Apart from the general Federal Census many states conducted their own state census but no state census for Ohio till today is known. The population of the state as per the 2010 United States Census Bureau was 11,536,504 (approx), an increase of 1.6% from the 2000 census.
